Non-EEA students must pay a CAS deposit of £1000 for all courses costing £1000 or more; if your course costs less than £1000 then you must pay the full course fees as a deposit.
The deposit is non-refundable unless students can not come to study as a result of a visa refusal. In this case they will be refunded their deposit minus a £150 administrative charge.
From March 2010, Tier 4 students will need to pay an additional non-refundable £10 fee to UKBA in order for us to issue a Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS).
Deposit refunds will only be issued if a student’s visa application is rejected: the student will receive a refund of any course fee and/or deposit paid (minus an £150 Administration Fee). Documentary evidence from the Home Office / British Embassy that the visa application has been rejected must be provided.
There will be absolutely no deposit or course fee refund if the visa has been rejected on the grounds of fraud, deception, forgery or deceit.
There will be absolutely no refund of course fees made after the course start date.
Applications for refunds must be in writing to the College Manager before the start of the course. Any refunds payable under this policy will be made within 4 weeks of receiving the written request.
